One way we have found to cut calories is to have a healthy smoothie for breakfast or lunch instead of a traditional meal. They’re so easy and so delicious! Here’s how we make ours:

1/2 cup light coconut milk

1/2 cup regular milk of your choice (fat free, low fat or almond milk)

1 cup spinach leaves (they blend up so nicely and make the smoothie a beautiful shade of light green)

1 cup of frozen fruit (you can use fresh fruit with ice instead but we LOVE frozen pineapple in ours)

1 medium banana (we peel ours, break them in half and throw them in a baggy in the freezer and use them frozen in our smoothies)

Blend all items in your blender and enjoy!
