Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Well, for some it’s not. Many people just don’t like vegetables but they are a very important part of your diet especially if weight loss is the goal. Also, they are just generally great for you! Fruits and vegetables are loaded with important, cancer-fighting antioxidants and tons of fiber. For folks trying to lose weight, fiber is extremely important. For one thing, fiber makes you feel full and satisfied so you tend to eat less. Also, fiber helps counter the bad effects of carbohydrates. And, last but not least, helps keep our digestive systems healthy and functioning properly.

So eat your fruits and veggies! Justin Buchholz says that when he’s trying to maintain a healthy weight, he literally eats as much fruits and vegetables as he can possibly stand to ingest in a day!
